Jessica Curry Morton, the mama behind Happy Mama, Happy Babies, is a happily married, stay-at-home and work-at-home millennial mom (phew!) with three children — two daughters and one son.

The balancing act of motherhood, life, and the unexpected inspires Jessica to unapologetically pursue joy and lead her children down a path of creativity and self-discovery.

“My children have completed redefined (and challenged) my understanding of happiness,” Jessica laughs. “I’ve experienced more joy in the last six years as a mother than in my entire life, and I am eternally grateful for this special, unmatched feeling.”

That unmatched feeling is a level of joy Jessica deeply wanted to express via a creative platform, and after lots of encouragement from her incredible tribe of mamas and friends, and an unrequited passion to share her experiences, wisdom, and lessons learned, Happy Mama, Happy Babies was birthed. Between blogging and managing two small businesses with her husband, Jessica and her family choose to make happiness their number one priority, despite the many challenges life brings.

In a world that’s inundated with distractions, often separating families from making memories and sharing quality time, Jessica takes pride in exposing her children to new art installations and challenging parks and play spaces, as well as taking them on trips and enjoying local festivals. Admittedly growing bored with ease, Jessica aims to switch up her family’s schedule to include new activities and unseen places, many of which are documented in this special blog. Memories are priceless, and traveling remains high on Jessica’s priority list.

“Visiting new places enriches our souls and increases our confidence because these adventures encourage us to tap into our senses while exploring interests and abilities,” Jessica explains.

Happy Mama, Happy Babies exhibits the mantra that any obstacle should be seen as conquerable if approached with relentless willpower. Each moment is an opportunity to grow together, learn together, and explore together, three acts of life that Jessica and her family certainly do not take for granted.

To stay up to date on Jessica’s latest adventures, be sure to subscribe to Happy Mama, Happy Babies, and don’t forget to follow Jessica and her tribe via social media as she shares the people, places, and things that make her happy.

Parker is six years old and just graduated from kindergarten in a virtual homeschool setting. Parker is precocious and talkative with a love for ballet, and in 2017, she captured the hearts of many when a photo of her, awestruck by a portrait of Michelle Obama at the National Portrait Gallery, went viral. Who would have known that one unique photo would lead to the incredible opportunity to meet Michelle Obama and have a priceless dance party together? What a special moment! Parker later appeared on The Ellen Show and continues to shine in her own right without knowing the magnitude of her sweet smile and spirit.

Ava is 19 months younger than Parker, just graduated from Pre-K3 and she is certainly picking up on life faster than ever! Ava has a great example in Parker which has helped her reach speaking, motor, and artistic milestones at a young age. Like Parker, Ava is also learning Mandarin Chinese. Above all, her courage and ferocity are inspiring. She brings unmatched energy to her family’s life, and not a minute of her shine is taken for granted. Ava absolutely loves music and dancing, trying new foods, being in the water, and, of course, her sister and brother. Watching her grow and shine with each passing day is one of her parents’ greatest joys.

Cash is the youngest of the family, and his adorably inquisitive nature leads him to uncovering everything he can get his hands on. Cash is a super sweet mama’s boy with an affinity for music and dancing. He looks forward to daily walks with his family and loves nothing more than his two big sisters, Parker and Ava.
